Christopher Anthony Kren Jr., 33, passed away on October 9th, 2024. Born on March 12, 1991, in Snellville, Georgia, Chris was known for his intelligence, kindness, and passion for technology. He graduated from Fairhope High School, where he showcased his musical talent in the marching, jazz, and concert bands. He continued his education at the University of South Alabama, earning a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and later a master’s degree in information systems.

Chris built a successful career in information security at BMC Software, where he was loved and respected by his colleagues for his relentless curiosity and commitment to learning. His peers remember him as a brilliant mind, always eager to help others grow and solve complex challenges.

Beyond his professional achievements, Chris had many personal passions. He loved running, hiking, cooking, and brewing his own homemade ciders and mead. His love for games extended from video game speed runs to board games and escape rooms, where his strategic thinking and creativity always shone through.

Above all, Chris was a caring and charitable person, always ready to help anyone in need. Whether it was offering food and drinks to the homeless or teaching someone about technology or music, his generosity knew no bounds.

Chris is survived by his younger brother, Harrison Kren, and his mother, Veronica Kren. All who knew him will miss his warmth and kindness, but his legacy will live on in the lives he touched.
